In reply to Aimee. Do you like the Nikon 200-500? I have a niko d 750 and D7200 I’m thinking of selling my sigma contemporary 150-600 and purchase the Nikon lens and a teleconverter any thoughts?

I am a birder in Ohio. The warbler migration is a highlight in the spring. I bought a Nikon 200-500 lens this year. You are so right about the limitations of the tripod. I did find the monopod more flexible, but am holding the lens more frequently. I’m still having focus issues but am learning. Thanks for the tips!
