I’ve decided to do a monthly photoessay to share more of my images that may or may not make it to social media otherwise. After purchasing a lightweight camera (Sony A7 III) I’ve become much more willing to have a camera everywhere. There’s so much more to see in Yellowstone besides what comes across my telephoto lens!

June in Yellowstone is a transitional time. Early June can still be great for wildlife, including bears, but by the end of the month crowds are descending for the busy summer season. The popular attractions become unbearable with traffic by July.

All photos were taken in June of this year.
